This function will be on 6 months’ contract based and reporting to the Quality Control Manager and also will be based at Firmenich Indonesia Cileungsi Plant.
Conduct daily Taste and Beyond sensory evaluation sessions per established SOP's
Adherence to the Global Quality Control LEAN workflow process for processing of all Quality Control samples
Manage the receipt of samples as they are logged into Quality Control
Prioritize / separate samples and organize their testing per established SOP's
Analyze raw material, in-process, and finished product samples according to established SOP's
Participate in daily sensory evaluation panels per established SOP's
Files all retains at conclusion of sample testing cycle
Provides Sensory Support in both preparation and evaluation of ingredients and finished products
Follows all Lab and Site safety and GMP rules. Maintains work area in a neat and organized manner and completes all paperwork correctly
Do instrument verification as per stated in SOP’s and respect its checking frequency
Ensure instrument calibrations are within tolerances, recalibrate as needed, and maintain the validity of calibration certificate
Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Analysis. One years working experience in QC lab would be advantage.
Positive work attitude, structured
Previous Quality Control experience in an analytical lab or sensory lab; skills to include wet chemistry, specific Gravity, Refractive index, titrations. GC, GCMS, or Flavors and/or Fragrance sensory experience are preferable.
Must be Thorough and attentive to details, Organized
Able to multitask and complete multiple requests on time
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Developing analytical skills with problem solving ability
Ability to adapt well to a fast-paced environment
