About the Role
A great opportunity awaits our Telesales Manager-Retail who will act as a leader within our Telesales function, overseeing the Telesales daily operations. Together with the Head of Telesales & Inside Sales, you’ll work to acquire the retail merchants, influencing Telesales team leaders and Telesales agents in order to introduce Moka as a premium POS in Indonesia. Your efforts will directly bolster MSME digitalization and help MSME grow their business with Gojek ecosystem. One of the biggest challenges we had to face is to convince retail merchants about the value of online POS and help them to go online. We are working on several projects now, including one about acquiring retail merchants and help them grow their business by using Moka.

What You Will Do

  • You will conduct in-house training and development for all outbound team members including the leaders.
  • Actively monitor team performance on daily basis by generating reports to identify the gap and promptly formulate with action plans for improvement
  • You will work closely and maintain collaboration with related departments to support sales and operational activities
  • Data-driven, responsible in maintain and optimize the critical sales & quality metrics for all processes. (conversion rate, call & input quality, AHT, ATT, etc)
  • You will be responsible for script development and enhancement as well as the development of the tools.
  • You will manage the leads and must have high initiative to find another source of leads
  • You will be responsible for hiring and maintain the capacity and turnover rate

What You Will Need

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Telesales/ Outbound call center field preferably in services/ SaaS industry with minimum 3 years as a Leader / SPV level or 1 year as a Manager
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability with strategic thinking
  • Result and sales-oriented with a strong focus on sales achievement
  • Proactive and initiative behavior at work
  • Able to speak and write in English
  • Familiar with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc), Telesales tools and Microsoft office
  • Strong people management skills. Preferably has experience in managing big outsource team (50-100 agents)
  • Great telephone skills or has a call activity experience as an agent
About the Team Our Telesales team has more than 30 agents and is still growing. Our main responsibility is to introduce Moka as a premium POS and help acquire merchants all over Indonesia. One of the biggest challenges we had to face is rejection. We eventually resolved it by feature education and continuous script development. Off-hours, you’d probably find us singing somewhere or traveling. We’re made up of futsal enthusiasts as well. Once COVID subsides, we’re excited to play futsal or traveling together again.
