About the Role

As a Senior Researcher for the SEA market, you’ll take the wheel in bringing user insights to generate communication development for Gojek. Along with creating a robust research plan, you will be in charge of employing both qualitative and quantitative research. Working alongside a broader team of brand marketing and creative strategists, your knowledge will help us to build effective communication plans which create meaningful relationships with our users.

What You Will Do

    • Proactively involved in the brand building strategy as a thought partner for the Marketing team
    • Tell Gojek about the insight on emerging customer concerns & daily life and how Gojek should react by executing both qualitative and quantitative research projects which including but are not limited to Advertising pre/post-test, Brand Health Tracking, Customer Satisfaction, Segmentation, U&A, etc
    • Enrich the insight come from the studies by doing some triangulation with secondary researches and collaboration with other researchers and data science colleagues
    • Manage and do continuous improvement in terms of research method enhancement, vendors, and database management
    • Design the research roadmap to answer the business questions

What You Will Need

    • At least 4 years research experience with some knowledge mainly on Brand Value Proposition, Brand Health Tracking, Segmentation & Concept test
    • Master in executing quantitative research (e.g: questionnaires building, sampling design, weighting methods, Statistical analysis) & qualitative researches (e.g: discussion guides building, conducting FGD/in-depth interviews/Diary/Ethno, and synthesizing findings)
    • Beyond average analytical thinking
    • “Be a scientist” habit
    • Skill in the necessary analysis tools (SPSS or qualtrics) is preferred
    • Passion about consumer and brand
About the Team
Gojek Research & Insights team has 90+ researchers spread across multiple products and countries. Our very own Market Insight team consists of 2 researchers in ID & VN. We are committed to ensuring that user insights are always at the heart of marketing communication and product experiences, through collaboration with the brand, creative, and design team.
Should you have a question about what users are doing in the Gojek app, we are your people! As a multidisciplinary team, we are working to deliver insights and recommendations byways of merging qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and business research, which will help guide Gojek’s brand or communication decisions.
Outside of work, you’d find us doing various different things. We are made up of gardeners, sweets hunters, football ultras, manga geeks, and binge-watchers. With WFH becoming more normalized, you best believe we’ve been sharing our favorite ways to prioritize a healthy work-life balance at home.
