Retail Manager for Luxury Fashion Based in Kuala Lumpur

Job Description

  • Provide customer service & responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Direct supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory taking, reconciling cash receipts or in performing services for customers.
  • Monitoring sales activities to ensures that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
  • Lead the effort of the team to acquire new clients (walk-in clients or follow up) and also by following a tactic of client acquisition outside the boutique.
  • Ensure that clients database of the boutique is actively used by all team members and must be well maintained and enriched to foster support for any future activities such as Birthday, event or etc.
  • Propose ideas to create marketing actions that could help achieving its sales objectives.
  • Managing and controlling inventories stock on and reorders when inventory drops to a specific level.
  • Manage and lead boutique team.
  • Supporting Luxury Fashion Business in principal need matters such as product training and principal visit.
  • Analyze how our brand is positioned in the market and crystalize targeted consumer’s insights.
  • Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors activities to identify opportunities and key issues.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration or Master’s degree in marketing/business administration or equivalent.
  • Fluently in English both speaking and writing.
  • Having at least 5 years of experience of supervisory/management in a high-end sales environment or similar fast paced.
  • Demonstrating an ability to effectively lead and direct; coach and train others in a retail setting, and the ability to relate well using communication, interpersonal, diplomacy and related skills required.
  • Drive for results and leadership skills.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Having flexibility in work schedule is required, including the ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays as operational need may require.
