About the Role
They say no man is an island, and this notion holds particularly true for this role. As our Food Strategy Manager for User Capability and Quality, you’ll be an instrumental cog in the GoFood wheel of Gojek that directly impacts the company’s ultimate aim of providing the best user experience. Your main objective will be to create a harmonious working relationship between business and product/ tech organization. Best yet, you’ll have the opportunity to flex your product management and stakeholder management skills, getting us even closer to make people use GoFood as their platform of choice without a second thought.

What You Will Do

    • Identify business problems and growth opportunities to later be solved through testable hypothesis and actionable insights
    • Take charge in strategic projects and initiatives with the support from Product and Marketing teams
    • Work closely with the Research and Intelligence teams to conduct deeper data analysis and prioritization
    • Design process improvement procedures within the Food organization to ensure smooth product delivery and great user experience

What You Will Need

    • At least 4 years of experience in a strategy or project management role at a tech or consulting company
    • Strong communication and project management skills with experience managing key projects with multiple stakeholders
    • Ability to lead and conduct analysis independently, including leveraging other functions (i.e., Research, Marketing)
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • High level of precision and attention to detail to produce accurate sources of truth for management’s decision making
    • Understanding of SQL is a plus
About the Team
Our GoFood team consists of 100+ zealous folks from various disciplines. As thosai is to the people of India, we are to Gojek: providing the nourishment to sustain our business from the inside out. Our main responsibility is to cater customers with the best selection of food at the most affordable prices.
Our Food Strategy: Product Capability team sub-pod consists of three people based in Jakarta. Working alongside the business, product, and tech teams, we are predominantly concerned with improving our customers' overall product experience with GoFood. This necessitates talking to our customers, planning and collaborating with product organizations, and analyzing any data that'll help us better understand user preferences. Should you have a question about business and product alignment, we are your people!
Off hours, when we were working in-person, you would’ve probably found us hanging-out in a coffee shop near our cool office or taking a walking meeting (for creativity and health!). Working from home has been a strange time for a lot of us, so our team has been taking time on our calls to trade advice on the best ways to keep sane with this new work set up. We’re made up of health enthusiasts and foodies (we are GoFood!). Once COVID subsides, we’re excited to resume our hunt for the best bar or coffee shop in town as a team once again.
